From: In Japan! (1973)

This album is pretty rare apparently, but its a recording of a japan performance where they did . It actually was released on CD-4 (Compatible Discrete 4) / Quadradisc in 4.0 sound back in 1973 in addition to CD, but only in japan. The CD-4 release is like a holy grail and extremely rare. I downloaded a supposed mix as I'm a huge fan of surround sound releases, but it sounded awful. I did manage to track down 128 kpbs mp3 versions, so enjoy those for now. It was also re-released in 2004 in the US but only 5000 copies were released.

I was introduced to this song by Alvin and the Chipmunks actually, and I used to particularly love Weird Al's parody "Eat it" so those are my favorites. Check out the great music video for the chipmunk version

Rockin' Through the Decades actually didn't have a music video with the chipmunks singing Jackson's songs, this was the exception to all other songs. Though as seen above a 90s version was on the soundtrack. Instead Alvin dances along with Jackson in his various songs.
